Quenching & Tempering Lines
In Quenching and Tempering Lines, the material is first heated uniformly and under controlled conditions to the austenitizing temperature (Ac3), then rapidly cooled with water to achieve the required hardness. While this process increases the material’s hardness, the subsequent tempering stage reduces brittleness and residual stresses, resulting in the required toughness, ductility, and impact resistance. Fully automated operation and precise process control make KFS Metal's Induction Heated Quenching and Tempering Furnaces a reliable and sustainable solution for the steel pipe manufacturing industry.
