KFS Metal designs and manufactures advanced production lines and industrial machinery for steel pipe manufacturers, while also providing consultancy services in process optimization and industrial project management.
Dr. Şirin is the founder of KFS Metal. Throughout his 37-year career in steel pipe industry, he has held various executive management positions, including GM in leading industrial companies in Turkey. He possesses extensive expertise in steel pipe manufacturing technologies, particularly in ERW Pipe Production, SAW Spiral Pipe Production and Hot-Dip Galvanizing Process. He is the author of numerous technical research papers published in internationally recognized SCI-indexed journals and has participated as a lecturer and technical speaker at conferences held in Turkey, the Netherlands, and the United States.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şule Şirin serves as a faculty member at Kocaeli University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, and leads the research and development activities of KFS Metal. Her scientific studies on steel pipe manufacturing technologies have been published in internationally recognized SCI-indexed journals. She has participated in numerous scientific congresses as both a speaker and session moderator. Her current research focuses on welding processes of steel tubes, heat treatment technologies and corrosion behavior of reinforcing bars embedded in concrete structures.
KFS Metal produces turnkey production lines with high technology and quality standards for steel pipe manufacturing companies, and also offers consulting in process and investment management.
